The PA COPC represents a culmination of national and state public adjusting associations canons and ethics. Guided by the Rules of Professional Conduct from the American Bar Association and longstanding state RPCs, the code is designed to be applicable across all U.S. jurisdictions.

What Is the PA COPC?

A broad-based coalition of established public adjusters and prominent industry professionals have collaborated to create a formal Public Adjusting Code of Professional Conduct.

Incorporates rules from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners Public Adjuster Licensing Model Act MO-228.

Standards guided by Rules of Professional Conduct from the American Bar Association and numerous longstanding state RPCs.

The PA COPC was developed by a broad-based coalition of established public adjusters and prominent industry professionals committed to elevating the standards of the profession. The coalition intends the PA COPC to become the standard which public adjusters strive to achieve, and the standard the industry and public can expect.
